I offer sliding scale and low cost options in an effort to make therapy more accessible to a wider range of folks.

I am available for a 20-minute virtual consultation to assess our fit and discuss sliding scale options if needed before committing to a first session.

  • Zelle and Venmo are the preferred payment methods. I can also accept major credit and debit cards using Stripe, but credit card fees may apply.

I do not accept insurance at this time.

  • Typically I only offer virtual sessions, but can also offer outdoor therapy in public third spaces in east or central Los Angeles in some cases. Please be in touch if this is something you are interested in!

Note that there can be some drawbacks related to privacy in public spaces which we can discuss more on a consultation. Typically, outdoor therapy is an option preferred by folks who have a hard time accessing both an internet connection and privacy from people in their lives at the same time.

  • Unfortunately, even though the technology would allow it, therapy for people living outside of California is not an option.

Therapy licensure is state specific, so both my and my supervisor’s registration and licenses are valid only in California.

  • Virtual therapy can be more accessible because it allows folks to attend therapy with no commute from the comfort of a familiar space. It also allows folks living in places outside of my city to attend therapy with me.

Closed captioning, chat, and voice dictation can all also be used in virtual therapy to accommodate folks who benefit from these features.

Online therapy via Zoom for Healthcare and document management in a HIPAA compliant portal both ensure your privacy is maintained.

  • It’s important to me that the frequency of sessions and the duration of the therapeutic relationship truly fit each client’s needs.

Some folks wish to meet weekly or biweekly on an ongoing basis as part of a “mental health hygiene” practice. Others use therapy more on an as-needed basis, meeting for only a few sessions once or every once in a while.

Often, folks prefer to meet weekly at first and then taper off over time, potentially coming back in the future again if desired.

  • Yes! I have some evening availability, especially on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

I also have limited availability on weekend mornings, but you should know that I am not available for all weekends. So, my weekend openings are generally better for folks who either can meet on different days as needed or who do not necessarily prefer to meet every week without interruption.
